Terms Of Use
Every CollectorLINK Token is more than just a token — it's a contractually bound link to a real-world collectible. When you own the Token, you're holding rights backed by blockchain and enforceable off-chain agreements to a verified physical asset.
Overview
By accessing or using CollectorLINK, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. CollectorLINK.net is transforming how collectors and investors buy and sell real-world memorabilia. Every token is backed by a verifiable physical asset secured on the Ethereum blockchain through a seamlessly integrated on-chain record and enforceable off-chain contract — setting a new standard for trust, provenance, and liquidity in the collectibles market.
What a CollectorLINK Token Really Means
When you buy a CollectorLINK token, you're not just buying a digital image or a video. You're entering into a verifiable, enforceable contract that links directly to a real-world collectible. Each token is tied to a physical item — authenticated, stored, and tracked — with all rights, responsibilities, and terms transparently defined on-chain and off-chain.
Your TOKEN isn't just digital proof — it's your legal claim to something real.
Services and Platform Purpose
CollectorLINK provides a platform that enables the minting and trading of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) which represent ownership of, or entitlement to, physical memorabilia. Each non-fungible token is linked to a specific real-world item and is designed to establish a secure and verifiable connection between the digital asset and the tangible collectible it represents.
To ensure trust and authenticity, all tokens minted through CollectorLINK are supported by blockchain-based records of provenance and authentication. This decentralized recordkeeping helps verify the history, legitimacy, and chain of custody of the underlying physical items, enhancing transparency for collectors and traders.
In addition to on-chain data, each token is governed by secure, off-chain agreements that clearly define the rights, responsibilities, and delivery obligations associated with the asset. These agreements form an essential layer of protection and clarity for both buyers and sellers, ensuring that all terms related to possession, transfer, or redemption of the physical memorabilia are properly documented and enforceable.
It is important to note that CollectorLINK is not an auction house or broker. The platform does not act as an intermediary in the ownership or custody of the physical items. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, all transactions conducted on CollectorLINK are peer-to-peer in nature and are governed solely by the underlying smart contract and the corresponding off-chain documentation.
Token Ownership and Real-World Collectibles
By acquiring a CollectorLINK token, you obtain a blockchain-based token that includes embedded metadata and a reference to a specific real-world collectible. This token serves as a digital representation of the item and may carry additional rights or conditions depending on the terms outlined at the time of minting.
Ownership of the token may entitle you to claim, redeem, or take physical possession of the associated collectible, subject to the specific terms set forth within the token's metadata and any related off-chain documentation. These terms govern the scope of your rights and clarify the nature of the entitlement, including any restrictions or obligations tied to the asset.
The physical collectible remains subject to the conditions explicitly stated in the metadata. These may include, but are not limited to, storage arrangements with CollectorLINK or designated third-party custodians, specific timelines for redemption, and any limitations on resale or transfer.
If the token you acquire includes the right to claim the physical item, you agree to adhere to the designated redemption process and associated timelines. Failure to redeem the collectible within the defined redemption window may result in the forfeiture of your claim or continued storage of the item under terms established by CollectorLINK or its authorized custodial partners.
Licensing and Intellectual Property
CollectorLINK tokens represent collectible digital tokens associated with media and metadata, but ownership of a token does not constitute ownership of the underlying intellectual property unless explicitly stated. You retain ownership of the tokens you purchase and any content you upload to the CollectorLINK platform.
Certain collectibles and token metadata may include third-party intellectual property, such as short media excerpts, images, audio, film clips, or other reference material. Where such material is included, it is used solely for commentary, educational, documentary, or informational purposes, and is believed to qualify under applicable fair use or similar legal doctrines.
CollectorLINK does not claim ownership of any third-party intellectual property included within token metadata or associated media. All rights to such materials remain with their respective copyright holders.
Ownership of a CollectorLINK token does not grant the token holder any copyright, trademark, or distribution rights in any third-party media included within the token or its metadata. Token holders may view and display such media for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Token holders may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, or commercially exploit any third-party media contained within a token without permission from the respective rights holder.
All other intellectual property on the CollectorLINK platform — including but not limited to the CollectorLINK name, brand, logos, platform design, site content, metadata structures, and underlying technology — is owned by CollectorLINK or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from this material without prior written permission.
Confidentiality
CollectorLINK treats all user interactions, transaction details, and associated documentation with strict confidentiality. We are committed to safeguarding your privacy and will not disclose any personal, transactional, or off-chain agreement information to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
User Responsibilities
By using CollectorLINK, you agree to act in good faith and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. You must be at least 18 years old to access or use the platform. You agree not to engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities, including but not limited to infringing upon the intellectual property or privacy rights of others, misrepresenting the authenticity, condition, or provenance of any collectible tied to a token, or attempting to reverse-engineer, manipulate, or exploit any aspect of our smart contracts, codebase, or supporting infrastructure.
You are solely responsible for securing your digital wallet and private keys. CollectorLINK does not store or manage your private credentials, and cannot recover lost access. Loss of control over your wallet may result in the permanent loss of tokens and any associated rights.
Fees and Royalties
Transactions conducted on CollectorLINK may be subject to various fees, including listing fees for initial sales, platform fees applied at the point of checkout, and royalties paid to creators or consignors based on resale activity. All applicable fees will be clearly disclosed at the time of the transaction. By completing any transaction on the platform, you acknowledge and agree to pay all associated fees as presented.
No Guarantees or Investment Advice
CollectorLINK makes no representations or guarantees regarding the future value, appreciation, or liquidity of any collectible or token traded on the platform. The items listed, whether physical or digital, are offered as collectibles — not financial instruments — and should not be treated as investments or securities.
We do not offer financial, legal, or investment advice of any kind. Participation in the marketplace is entirely at your own discretion and risk. The value of collectibles can fluctuate significantly based on market demand, cultural trends, rarity, and subjective perception. You should conduct your own research and consult with qualified advisors before engaging in any transaction.
Disputes & Off-Chain Enforcement
While the blockchain provides a transparent and immutable record of ownership and transaction history, certain real-world obligations — such as the storage, delivery, redemption, or condition of physical collectibles — are enforced off-chain through binding legal agreements between parties.
These obligations exist outside the blockchain and rely on trust frameworks, custodial arrangements, and third-party fulfillment.
CollectorLINK may, at its discretion, assist in the resolution of disputes between users, particularly where off-chain performance is in question. However, we are not responsible or liable for any failure by a user to fulfill their off-chain obligations unless CollectorLINK is expressly named as a contracted party in the transaction.
Furthermore, if you choose to vault a collectible represented by a token on the platform, you acknowledge that the item may be subject to future verification, audit, or inspection by CollectorLINK or an authorized third-party partner. As we evolve, CollectorLINK reserves the right to implement independent audit processes and compliance measures to help ensure the authenticity, condition, and proper custody of vaulted assets.
Vaulting, Custody & Proof of Reserves
CollectorLINK offers optional vaulting services for users who choose to store their physical collectibles under our care or through affiliated third-party custodians. When a collectible is vaulted, the corresponding token represents a claim to that specific, securely stored item. Vaulted assets are held under strict custodial protocols designed to ensure their safety, condition, and traceability.
To uphold trust and transparency within the CollectorLINK ecosystem, we are actively working toward the implementation of routine Proof of Reserves systems. This process will involve independent audits, item-level verification, and cryptographic attestations to confirm that all vaulted collectibles are physically present, accounted for, and appropriately matched to their associated tokens.
By choosing to vault an item, you acknowledge and agree that your asset may be subject to such periodic audits, inspections, or verification requests. Participation in the Proof of Reserves framework may become a requirement for continued vaulting, resale eligibility, or redemption services.
Termination, Changes, and Governing Law
CollectorLINK reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in unlawful activity, or act in a manner that, in our sole judgment, harms the integrity, functionality, or reputation of the platform or its users.
We may update or modify these Terms at our discretion to reflect changes in our services, legal obligations, or operational policies. In the event of significant updates, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the platform or via registered contact methods. Your continued use of CollectorLINK following any such update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your use of CollectorLINK must be brought exclusively in the courts located in Toronto, Ontario, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts for the resolution of any such disputes.
By using CollectorLINK, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
